The Solution
To meet these challenges, the concept of an itinerant yacht dedicated to selling exclusive nautical merchandise was born. This yacht sails along a European itinerary with stops at major ports, offering a unique retail experience while serving as a platform for environmental conservation. The yacht’s innovative design features a 3D-printed aluminum structure, modular triangular sections, and photovoltaic glass on the roof for energy generation. The yacht's metallic hull is designed to blend harmoniously with the marine environment, providing visual sustainability while promoting research and conservation of marine ecosystems, particularly Posidonia oceanica.
The Result
The result is a groundbreaking retail experience that combines luxury shopping with environmental consciousness. The yacht provides a unique, immersive experience for customers, reflecting Oakley’s distinctive aesthetics while contributing to the protection of the Mediterranean’s seagrass meadows. With its advanced technologies and mechanical solutions for energy generation, the yacht promotes 360° sustainability. Additionally, the interiors are designed to ensure the well-being of the crew during their voyages, offering a comfortable living environment with natural, relaxing colors, thereby enhancing the overall experience of both customers and crew members.
