Overview
They are “twins” in concept, yet complementary in soul — two boats that embody duality and harmony at once. This constant dialogue between opposites — ice and fire, sail and power, cold minimalism and warm comfort — is at the heart of the project. It is not only about designing yachts, but about capturing the essence of a land where nature is still sovereign, and transforming it into spaces meant to be lived, shared, and experienced at sea.

The Solution
Hekla 43, a 13-meter sailing yacht, embodies power and elegance with sleek lines, a secure central cockpit, and interiors that blend openness, light, and comfort. Its layout, featuring a spacious dinette, open galley, and two cabins with en-suite and guest bathrooms, turns sailing into a refined adventure. Vatna 43, its motor yacht counterpart, echoes the same design DNA with bold, glacier-inspired geometries and a welcoming open-plan interior. Despite the compact space shaped by the engine room, it offers the same balance of conviviality, privacy, and comfort. Together, they translate Iceland’s natural wonders—volcanoes and glaciers—into timeless experiences at sea, where strength meets serenity.
The Result
H-43 and V-43 are twins in concept, yet each carries a unique identity. One celebrates the poetry of sailing, the other the strength of power — both born from the same inspiration, both shaped by the dialogue between ice and fire. Side by side, they embody the essence of Iceland: contrasts that coexist, opposites that complement each other, forces that find balance. Two yachts, one vision — a timeless journey across sea and nature.
